Late Season Gun Tactics
Show Notes
On this episode of the Iowa Sportsman, Dan is once again joined by Tom Peplinski to talk about late season deer hunting. They discuss how deer behavior changes after the breeding is over and again once gun hunting pressure is introduced. Tom talks about how keeping pressure on your property as low as possible during the first shotgun season can make it an oasis for deer and increasing your odds for the second season. He also talks about how food and cover become the priority for the deer herd and how hunters can take advantage of that type of movement.
