Show Notes

We had a blast on the line with our buddy Walter Lee of Chasing Tales Outdoors Podcast this week. Life for Walt consists of very few things: Work, Family, & a passion for the outdoors. In this week’s episode, we discuss how he found a passion for hunting & fishing at an early age, which catapulted him into creating his brand, “Chasing Tales”. Walter shares some of his earliest memories being raised on a farm in south Georgia, and how that time spent outside was really what instilled his drive for creating quality content for people to consume all over the US. If you haven’t already, check out the Chasing Tales Outdoors podcast. We love what they’re doing and think you would enjoy it as well.

Towards the end of this episode, we make a HUGE announcement about something that we think you’re going to enjoy. The spring & summer doesn’t have to be boring. We know that you’re dreaming about big bucks, wanting these summer months to fly by to September. But it doesn’t have to be that way! We’re teaming up with Chasing Tales and a host of other online creators to bring you the Yakkin For Bass Challenge. As the name suggests, this going to be a month long kayak bass tournament through the TourneyX platform. In this tournament, you get to fish against YouTube creators & podcast hosts for your chance to win not only bragging rights but a ton of cool prizes. Check out our Facebook page (@SouthernGroundHunting) right now for more information on how you can sign up. This is going to be a fun opportunity for anyone and everyone to make the most of the hot months, and maybe even win something cool in the process.
